Score Greater than Touchdowns on PS3 Madden 10

PS3 Madden 10's pulse-pounding, hard-rocking soundtrack is another element that gives the game an added kick. The past few years have seen the soundtracks becoming an integral facet of the games, and Madden is leading the pack. As a departure from other games, Madden 10 has decided to throw in some classics as well as current hits - and it will rock you. If you're not convinced, check out PS3 Madden 10's roster of songs: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth. If all those features and upgrades haven't convinced you that PS3 Madden 10 is a masterpiece, then perhaps a trip through the sports video game timeline will. Maybe it's an obtuse comparison, lavishing platitudes on PS3 Madden 10, just because it blows every past video football game out of the water. After viewing the earliest football video games, however, you'll understand why PS3 Madden 10 is such an achievement. At the dawn of video game consoles, one of the top requests from every hardcore gamer was a football video game for their system, naturally. Only thing was, video game consoles and cartridges didn't have the capabilities to match the needs of the typical hardcore gamer, so everyone had to take what they could get. To try to generate excitement, the creators of this one insisted it featured "all the excitement" of actual football. Competition was nonexistent, so this one was a huge hit for the biggest video game console in the day. The football players look like blocky little robots. There's no getting around that one You think that photo looks limited, you should see the gameplay itself. Put too many characters on screen at once with these older games, and every character started flashing and flickering. There's just no way to try an explain how lousy the sound was. And worse, the screen didn't even scroll. Within a couple years, things would pick up slightly, with a competing console developing a football video game. It certainly was an improvement, with improved graphics, sound, and gameplay. But it was still nothing too impressive.

Yes, people were pretty stoked to see some improvements, but this wasn't the sports video game to put sports video games on top. More time would pass in order for that to transpire. This next one, coming out for the next generation of game consoles at the end of the 80s, was a sensation, and still beloved today. For many years, this was the greatest football video game. Not hard to understand why that caught on - they were the first to really bring a more comprehensive simulation of football to the video game console. Graphics and sound were vastly improved, so for many years, this was the video football game. Judging by its online revival, people still enjoy it today in small doses. Yet, it's still a poor man's PS3 Madden 10. Take a look at it, after taking in all of those older games. As you can see, football video games have evolved exponentially since their first appearance. That being said, time to lay off making fun of the older football video games. We've made our point. Those games, while archaic, got us to where we are today, and for that, they deserve their place in the video game hall of fame (though that first one may be better off in "video game hall of shame.") PS3 Madden 10 is in a whole different stratosphere than its predecessors, and for that, hardcore gamers have every reason to be stoked. And of course, the critics are equally enthusiastic about PS3 Madden 10, which is even more good news for fans of the franchise. Anytime you read a PS3 Madden 10 review, you'll see things like "realistic and enjoyable." Once again, EA Sports makes a win with PS3 Madden 10 - was there any doubt? Don't listen to the naysayers and the contrarians - there are few games as great as PS3 Madden 10. Sure, we love all PlayStation sports video games, but PS3 Madden 10 stands at the top, as one of the best. In the video game world, PS3 football games begin and end with Madden. Along with its major popularity, this is also where you get to battle for bucks. PlayStation Madden 10 aficionados now get to face off for big bucks. The victory - and your opponent's cash - will be in your hands, once you know the score in PS3 Madden 10.
